Our newest seasonal offering is here! We are jazzed to have some Colombia Excelso to roast for the next few months. “Excelso” refers to the grading system of Colombia coffees as does “Supremo”. A common misconception is that Supremo denotes better or “Supreme” bean and flavor quality but really it refers to bean size. Excelso is a slightly smaller bean that is packed with flavor and has very similar flavor characteristics to Supremo. This Excelso coffee has a beautiful bright yet balanced acidity and a clean, sugary, full- bodied mouthfeel. You may find smooth toffee and caramel tones as well as subtle hints of citrus and nut. This is what we call a “rich” coffee and definitely a sip is a mouthful with this one. Cheers
