Like Ethiopia, Sumatra coffees also have strong, distinctive flavor characteristics that make them unique and identifiable. Sumatra has an inherent woody, mossy, herbal earthiness to it and a deep heavy bodied mouthfeel. We roast this coffee on the darker side so it has a nice smokiness to complement its special flavor characteristics.

Our decaf version of this coffee is decaffeinated naturally using water and osmosis. Our decafs still have great flavor and depth minus all the buzz. We love them for evening events or desert pairings and they are especially delicious out of the French Press.
